The mobile trading card game, MapleStory Blitz, has been updated with brand-new content, this time featuring Zakum’s Altar, which adds all new dungeons and additional collectible cards to the game. South Korean author and writer Nexon declared that there are now 36 original cards added to MapleStory Blitz. These cards can only be found from the brand new dungeon regions, so gamers will be forced to explore and fight their way to obtaining the nascent content.
In addition to the cards as well as the dungeon, there’s also news that Nexon has shortened the rated match season from one month all the way down to two weeks. They do not say why they changed it, but I envision kids with short attention spans are more likely to participate in the seasonal challenges if they are shorter as opposed to when they were longer. I mean they gotta keep the kiddies pouring cash into the money shops, right? Outside of the dungeons there are also some new challenges and events for regular play.
To help players adapt to the new cards and get familiar with the new strategies, there are a number of new battle guides to assist players invent tactical strategies against PvE and PvP competitions. The community likes a few of the new features but they absolutely hate the new Zakum dungeon since they have complained that because of the constant lag it’s made it really difficult to finish the dungeon.
Nexon has suggested people to restart the program and shut out other apps to decrease the possible lag during play or to contact customer support. The sport seems to be quite popular with the Southeast Asians, but that’s probably because that is where Nexon has been focusing their efforts.
We recall that in 2013, Nexon announced the growth of MapleStory 2 and South Korea, the revelation did not begin indifferent since the first opus is popular – in 2014, the game was in the top 10 MMO the most rewarding, eight years after its launch.
And if, since the first statements, Nexon additionally uttered at least an English version, the game was waiting from the West. Until now.
Yesterday, in the MapleFest, Nexon confirmed not just the forthcoming launch of a British version of the game, but also the company of some Western beta evaluation, from May 9 to 16. And already, registrations are open on the official website – and they will stay only until May 6.
For the record MapleStory 2 takes again the esthetics and the principal codes of this first opus, but transposed now in a world in simili 3D (in place of this side-scrolling of the first MapleStory). This brand new episode takes place in precisely the same world as the first, but in a previous period and confronting players with dark powers: based on this plot of the new album, the lifetime, time and space of this world of MapleStory are preserved by three Sages, but the forces of darkness disturb this balance and the players will have to mobilize to remedy it.
To discover concretely in Western variant from May 9, so, waiting for a free-to-play launching on a date still undetermined.
