Apply a sunscreen with UVB ray protection about half an hour before going out in the sun. If possible, you should always pick out the highest SPF that you can find. This will stop your skin from burning and protect your face from lines, wrinkles, and skin cancer. Always use warm, not hot or cold water to wash your face. Colder water closes the pores, and allows bacteria to be swept away. Hot water has the ability to dry out the skin and impart a red appearance. Warm water is great because it opens your pores and allows you to get a nice clean face. Use a sponge to put sunscreen on your face. This will help you apply it more evenly. You’ll get more penetration with the sponge application, so your skin will be protected better. Lemon juice can act as a bleaching agent. It’s a natural way to lighten dark spots, scars and blemishes. This solution doesn’t last forever. You must reapply the lemon juice every so often to maintain the effect. It is, however, a safe and cheap alternative to chemical bleaching agents. A lip balm that contains Shea butter can work wonders for dry, cracked lips. Lipsticks should be avoided, because they can cause further dryness. Also, don’t use products with sugary or fruity ingredients, this can cause lip licking that leads to chapped lips.
